Miss Weed
Phase leader and Class Teacher
I have been teaching at Manorfield for 9 years now and have taught in Year 3/4, Year 2 and, for the last 4 years, in Year 6.
I love Maths and it is one of my favourite lessons to teach. My favourite topic we cover in Year 6 is World War II and Kindertransport.
I have 2 lovely dogs and love watching films and going to the cinema. Some of my favourite films are the Harry Potter series.
I am an avid reader and I’m always looking for a new book to lose myself in.

Mrs Clarke
Class Teacher
I have been working at Manorfield for over 8 years, and during that time I’ve had the privilege of working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. It’s been a fantastic journey filled with memorable moments.
One of my favourite parts of teaching is diving into our topic lessons—whether it’s launching into outer Space, exploring the world of Castles, or discovering the wonders of the Animal Park in Kenya. Our trip to Woburn Safari Park is always a highlight and brings learning to life in such an exciting way.
Outside the classroom, I love spending quality time with my family and friends. I also have a passion for travel and enjoy exploring new places whenever I get the chance.

Mrs Lal
Class Teacher
I have been a teacher at Manorfield for 2 years. I am very happy to continue my journey in Key Stage 1.
I am looking forward to teaching you all the fun and exciting subjects.
I enjoy travelling and exploring different cultures. I love to exercise and I enjoy going to the gym and for long walks. I have a passion for cooking and baking and tasting different foods. I enjoy going to the theatre and watching musicals with my friends and family. I love watching Disney and Pixar movies, and I am excited to visit the cinema to watch the new films. My current favourite Disney and Pixar movie has to be Elemental! I also like to colour, I find it very relaxing.

Miss Johnson
Class Teacher
This will be my second year teaching at Manorfield and I am looking forward to continuing my journey in Key Stage 1.
My favourite subjects to teach are Maths and Music, but I also love exploring the different topics in fun and creative ways.
Outside of school, I love singing, musical theatre and performing in shows at my local theatre. I also love to focus on my hobbies including building Lego, jigsaws and crafts, as well as spending time with my family.
I have been teaching since 2010 and have covered both KS1 and KS2 during this time, in city and county schools.
During my time teaching, I enjoy making connections in Maths and watching the improvement in writing. I am passionate about reading and our class library will always reflect this.
My family and I have lived in Stoney Stanton since 2013. We love the community and support as many ventures in and around the village that we can. Outside of school, I am a busy mum to an active daughter and enjoy all the joys this brings.
