At Manorfield, every child is a valued member of our Manorfield Family. We are proud to offer a vibrant and inclusive learning environment where children are nurtured, challenged and inspired to grow both academically and personally. Our curriculum is designed to spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning. We celebrate each child’s individuality and support them in becoming confident, compassionate, and resilient members of society.
‘For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me. I was sick and you looked after me. I was in prison and you came to visit me… Truly I tell you whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine you did for me.’ Matthew 25 v35,36,40

As part of Children's Mental Health Week, we invited our pupils to “come as you are”, encouraging them to dress in whatever makes them feel comfortable, confident, and most authentically themselves 🤝💙
From cosy hoodies to favourite outfits and costumes, today was all about embracing individuality and celebrating the importance of feeling at ease in your own skin ✨

Our Year 5 pupils took part in an Embrace Trust-wide First Phone VR session today - an exciting initiative designed to educate pupils about online safety and the importance of being responsible digital citizens 🌟🌐✅
Using VR headsets, pupils explored real‑life online scenarios in a safe and interactive way, helping them understand how to make smart, informed choices in the digital world 💬💡
We're excited to keep empowering young minds with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
Thank you to the Police and Crime Commissioner for Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland for launching this initiative and for allowing our pupils to take part 🤝 ... See MoreSee Less

To mark this exciting year, Year 1 and Year 2 children will now be bringing home one of our brand-new ‘Sharing Books’ each week. These wonderful additions will give our pupils the chance to explore a wider range of genres, texts and authors, alongside their carefully levelled reading books. We can’t wait to see the stories they discover and the conversations they spark at home!
A huge thank you to the fantastic Manorfield PTFA, whose dedication and support makes our annual Literary Festival possible, an amazing celebration of reading and all things books.
We’re also thrilled to welcome The Roving Bookshop on Thursday 12th February. With fewer bookshops on the high street, this visit offers a valuable opportunity for children to browse, explore, and fall in love with new books. It’s always a magical experience!
Finally, a special shout-out to our brilliant Year 6 Reading Ambassadors, who continue to do an incredible job supporting our Year 3 readers. They are a real credit to the school, and the Year 3 children look forward to their reading sessions every single week 🌟
Here’s to a wonderful year of stories, imagination and reading adventures! 📖💙
