Mrs Johnson

Mental Health First Aider

Mrs Johnson has training and experience in the following areas on mental wellbeing:

  • Safeguarding for children and families
  • Mental Health First Aider training
  • Managing emotions: Using Emotion Coaching with children and young people
  • Trauma Informed Practice
  • Behaviour that challenges in children
  • CACHE certificate in understanding children and young people’s mental health
  • Introduction to ACEs and early trauma

In addition to the staff above, we also have a team of children working as our Wellbeing Ambassadors.  The Y5/6 pupils work with Mrs Rogerson developing ways that our staff and children can support wellbeing across the school.

In our school we make provision for children who have a variety of needs.   A  range of provision and support is provided in school for children who find it difficult to manage their emotions and behaviour in a way that affects their daily life.
