I have been working at Manorfield for 8 Years and this is my third year in Year 5. We cover lots of fun topics such as the The Vikings, Space and Plastic Pollution.
Our classroom is in the Wedge, it as a nice big room, that is very bright and airy, and in the Spring we get to look at the beautiful tree outside our room.
I like lots of things….I love animals, I have a dog and two cats and two daughters. I love a nice cup of tea, preferably Yorkshire, handbags and Dr. Marten shoes.
You will find out very quickly that I am a bit silly, forgetful and lose things all the time, particularly my glasses!

I have been at Manorfield for 11 years now and have taught children across KS2. I have taught in Year 3 for 4 years now and particularly enjoy our Ancient Egypt topic.
I have one daughter who is now at university and a big extended family who live in Manchester.
I love travelling around the world and seeing different countries.
I also enjoy going to the cinema, eating delicious food especially chocolate and cake!

Reading
Children are expected to read any book of their choice as frequently as possible.
Maths – Times Tables
Children will be expected to learn their times table. Children will have access to Times Table Rock Stars. We will be showing the children how to access the online game. There is also an app to download if you wish. Login details can be found on the inside of the front cover, of the communication book.
